Goal Type:

Unknown

Running Accomplishments:

I have completed two marathons and two half-marathons. My fastest pace was the Akron half-marathon, where I ran 9  minute miles throughout.

Short-Term Running Goals:

In the next two years, I hope to qualify for the Boston marathon. That will be difficult; I have the motivation, but time is a factor, since I have two boys, ages 2 and 1.

Long-Term Running Goals:

I would just like to continue running and feeling healthy. Hopefully, I can do one marathon per year for a very long time.

Personal:

I'm married to a great guy, and as mentioned before, we have two little boys.

I have not run for about a week, so I wanted to start again today. My boys are napping, and I just used the time to get on the treadmill. I ran cross country in high school, and wanted to see if I could match my PR set back then (21:36). Turns out, I'm not in as good of shape as I thought. I did it in 24:45, and it was not easy. My face is still bright red! I'll get there. I really need to work on speeding up. I'm currently able to do 10 minute miles seemingly forever, but that will not get me to Boston!
