I have not run for about a week, so I wanted to start again today. My boys are napping, and I just used the time to get on the treadmill. I ran cross country in high school, and wanted to see if I could match my PR set back then (21:36). Turns out, I'm not in as good of shape as I thought. I did it in 24:45, and it was not easy. My face is still bright red! I'll get there. I really need to work on speeding up. I'm currently able to do 10 minute miles seemingly forever, but that will not get me to Boston! |
